Vincent Peters, born in Bremen, Germany, in 1969, is one of today’s most active fashion photographers. At age of 20, he moved to New York, where he worked as a photo assistant. Upon his return to Europe, he worked for a number of art galleries before launching his own fashion photography career at Giovanni Testino. Peters’s clients include Wolfgang Joop, Bottega Veneta, Louis Vuitton, Hugo Boss, Emporio Armani, and Lancôme.

Over the last quarter-century, Vincent Peters’s photographs have graced the pages of Vogue, Glamour, and GQ and defined fashion campaigns from Dior to Hugo Boss to Yves Saint Laurent. One of the most sought-after portrait and fashion photographers, Vincent Peters prints also have a significant following in the fine art market.

For more than 20 years, Vincent Peters has been among the best photographers internationally.

The artist, a native of Bremen, Germany, lives in Paris and Ibiza and sees the world as his playground. His unmistakable signature style — sensitive, classic photos — is in equally high demand for celebrity, fashion, and advertising photography. With minimal resources, he is able to create dramatic images that look like stills from an imaginary movie. Every picture makes you wonder what will happen next. The virtuoso images of one of the most in-demand fashion photographer, now assembled in one volume for the first time

How can a photographer of internationally known stars create iconic portraits that linger in the memory — especially since these actors have already been photographed and filmed millions of times? Vincent Peters — who has been working since 1995 for magazines such as Vogue and GQ and fashion brands including Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Yves Saint Laurent — relies entirely on the classic art of portrait photography for his pictures.
