It is what animates her work with customers of Hammertown Barn, the three Hudson Valley– and Berkshire-based independent lifestyle stores she owns and operates. Hammertown Barn has been featured in Country Living, Travel & Leisure, and the Daily Beast, among many other print and online publications. Abby Adams is the author of several books, including The Gardener’s Gripe Book. Mary Randolph Carter is an author, photographer, designer, and longtime creative director for Ralph Lauren.
